Penne Pasta with Creamy Sun Dried Tomato Sauce

This recipe is ideal for any meatless pasta, it won’t take up a single gram of meat and is completely balanced for your meal any day. Cook the mushrooms with our recipe and mix it with your favorite pasta adding a delicious tomatoes sauce.


  • 2 cups (8 oz.) Raw penne pasta
  • 8 sun-dried tomatoes, chopped (about 1/3 cup)
  • 1 can (12 oz.) NESTLÉ CARNATION Evaporated Lowfat 2% Milk
  • 2 cups (8 oz. Package) Italian crumbled four-cheese mix
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper


  • COOK pasta according to package directions, but add sun-dried tomatoes 2 minutes before cooking is complete; drain it.
  • COMBINE evaporated milk, cheese, basil, garlic powder, and pepper in medium saucepan. Cook this over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until the cheese is melted. Remove the pan from the fire.
  • ADD pasta and sun-dried tomatoes to cheese sauce; stir well.
