Baked Salmon: The Easiest Recipe

Baked salmon , a very balanced and healthy recipe, suitable for the whole family. You will see how you like this delicious fish recipe , even for children.

To get flavor, first we are going to season the salmon with orange juice, soy sauce, garlic, pepper and extra virgin olive oil and we are going to bake it, you will see that it is very juicy and tasty.

The salmon is an oily fish that is high in fatty acids Omega 3 and proteins of high biological value so it is advisable to include it in our weekly menus familiar, below we speak a little more of this fish.

We have chosen a whole large piece in the fish shop; They have already prepared it for us without thorns although we will review it carefully at home, so we can give it to the children with ease. But you can also prepare this  recipe for baked salmon  with fillets, try to make them thick.

On this occasion we have accompanied the baked salmon with mashed potatoes and some arugula leaves; A perfect dinner that will only take you 15 minutes to prepare, although it is much less elaboration: while you bathe the children, the oven does all the work.


  • 1 piece of salmon of about 800 grams
  • A juice orange
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon assorted peppercorns
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil

We prepare the dressing

We put the garlic and pepper in the mortar and make a mash. Add the orange juice, soy and extra virgin olive oil, mix very well and pour over the salmon.

We take the salmon to the oven

We introduce in the oven that must be preheated, at 180ºC between 12 and 15 minutes, depending on the thickness. We take out and serve this delicious baked salmon and see who says that cooking is complicated.

Baked Hake:

Hake is one of the most widely consumed fish, due to its good value for money, and because thanks to its mild flavor it is liked by everyone, also who does not especially love fish. That is why we propose different ways to prepare it in the oven, some for festivity, such as baked hake, and others for everyday use, such as hake cake.

The Hake is a white fish meat and mild flavor so almost always seems like everyone. It has  a very low caloric intake  (about 65 Kcal and only 2 g of fat per 100 g of edible portion). It is also  rich in complete proteins or of high biological value . It also has different  minerals and vitamins , among which those of group B stand out.


  • 1 hake
  • Potatoes
  • 2 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • Salt
  • A splash of white wine
  • Extra virgin olive oil


We prepare the garnish of the baked hake

We wash the potatoes very well, with the help of a brush. We cut them in half, put them in a microwave-safe bowl, and cook at full power for 5 minutes. If you don’t have a microwave, you can boil them for about 15 minutes.

Cut the onion into julienne strips and grate the tomato (or crush it).

We ask the fishmonger to clean the hake, remove the scales, the guts … but leave it whole.

We wash it a little and put it on the baking tray. Arrange the potatoes around the hake. Add the onion cut into thin julienne strips, the grated tomato, the drizzle of wine, a little salt and a generous drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
